Supported ELDs and connection types

The ELDs Numeo One works with — Samsara, Motive, and more — plus the two ways a connection gets set up.

3 min read

Numeo One connects to the ELD you already run. This page lists the providers it supports and explains the two ways a connection gets set up — so you know what to expect when you link yours.

The ELDs Numeo One supports

Numeo works with more than a dozen ELD providers. The ones you'll most often see:

  • Samsara
  • Motive
  • AT ELD
  • Swift ELD
  • Level ELD
  • HOSconnect
  • Spectre ELD
  • New World ELD
  • Wheels Elog
  • Panda ELD
  • Logitex
  • EzLogz
  • BlueHorse
  • GreenLight, TT ELD, DriveHOS, and Redoc

Not sure which one you're on? It's whatever device and portal your drivers already use for Hours of Service.

Two ways to connect

Direct credential connect

Most ELDs connect by signing in with your ELD account. You pick your provider from the list, enter your ELD account credentials, and Numeo links straight to it. Samsara, Motive, and the majority of the list work this way.

Platform-based connect

A few ELDs run on a shared telematics platform rather than a single per-brand login — TT ELD, GreenLight, DriveHOS, and Redoc. The steps on your end are the same: pick the provider and authorize the link. Numeo handles the platform underneath.

What the connection turns on

However your ELD connects, once it's linked you get the same thing:

  • Your trucks and drivers import automatically, and Numeo can auto-assign drivers to trucks from the ELD's vehicle data.
  • Live truck locations refresh every 30 seconds.
  • Hours of Service data flows straight from the device.

For the step-by-step, see Connect your ELD.

Good to know

  • Connecting the ELD is what starts live tracking on every load — see Live tracking, ETA, and geofences.
  • Don't see your ELD in the list? Reach out — support can tell you whether it's supported.
