Every alert in Numeo One can go to different people, and the message your driver gets when you assign a load is yours to edit. This article covers the recipient toggles and the load-assignment message template.
Pick who gets each alert
Each alert has its own recipient toggles, so the right people hear about the right thing:
- Driver — the assigned driver, over Telegram.
- Dispatcher — the dispatcher on the load.
- Broker — the broker, for updates you want to share outward.
- Custom Group — a group you define, for anyone else who should be looped in.
- Internal Team — your own team channel, over Telegram or email.
Toggle any combination per alert. For example, keep the ELD Offline Alert to the driver only (it's driver-only by design), send Arrival Detection to the broker, and route the Detention Alert to your team.
Two extra toggles show up where they help:
- Reply All — keep everyone on the thread in the loop on a reply.
- Exclude Delay — on Send Update, leave delay notices out of the routine status updates.
The load-assignment message
When you assign a load to a driver, Numeo One sends them a message with the load details. You edit that message before it goes out:
- Assign the load to a truck and driver on the scheduler or the Ongoing Loads board.
- In the message editor, review the load details and adjust the wording.
- Choose whether to include a tracking link.
- Send.
The message adapts to the load's stage, so the driver sees the right wording whether the load is en route or already arrived.
Good to know
- The internal team channel can be Telegram or email; driver and broker messages go over Telegram.
- Choosing who receives an alert is separate from turning it on — enable the alerts first in Driver notifications over Telegram.
- Want the driver to see the broker's pickup and delivery instructions in the message? Reading those instructions from the Rate Confirmation into the template is coming soon.
