Beyond arrival and departure, Numeo One can warn you about hard driving, speeding, an overweight BOL, an ELD that's gone quiet, missing paperwork, and a load running late. Turn on the ones that matter per load and route them to the right people.
Turning alerts on and picking recipients is covered in Driver notifications over Telegram and Notification recipients and templates. The ELD-based alerts here need a connected ELD.
Safety and speed
- Safety Events — high-severity events from the ELD: harsh braking, hard acceleration, and crashes. No threshold to set.
- Speed Alert — fires when a truck's speed goes over your threshold (in mph).
Equipment and load
- ELD Offline Alert — messages the driver when their ELD stops reporting location for longer than your threshold (in minutes). This one always goes to the driver only — it's the fastest way to get location flowing again.
- Heavy Load Alert — fires when the BOL's total weight is over your threshold. The default is 42,000 lbs. Use it to catch an overweight load before the truck rolls.
Paperwork and delays
- Missing Paperwork — fires when a required document like the BOL or POD is missing from a load. No threshold.
- Delays — fires when a load is running later than your delay threshold (in minutes).
Send Update modes
Send Update controls how often automatic status updates go out while a truck is in transit — you set the cadence in hours. It runs in one of two modes:
- Automated Updates — Numeo sends the update on schedule on its own.
- Semi-Automated Updates — you review before each update goes out, so you stay in control of what the broker sees.
An Exclude Delay toggle lets you keep delay notices out of these routine updates when you'd rather send those separately.
Good to know
- Every threshold is per load, so an over-dimensional run and a light LTL can have different limits.
- Heavy Load Alert reads the weight off the load's BOL — see Bills of lading and load paperwork for where that data comes from.
