When you assign a load to a driver, Numeo One sends them a Telegram message with the load details. You get to review and edit that message before it goes out — and decide whether to include a live tracking link.
Assign the load and open the message
The message editor opens as part of assigning a load:
- Assign the load to a truck and driver on the scheduler or the Ongoing Loads board. See Using the scheduler and dispatch board.
- The load-assignment message opens with the load details filled in — stops, times, references.
- Review the wording and adjust anything you want the driver to see.
- Choose whether to include a tracking link.
- Send.
The load-assignment message editor A product screenshot will be added here.
The message adapts to the load's stage
The template knows where the load is. So the driver sees the right wording whether the load is still en route or has already arrived at a stop — you don't keep separate messages for each case. Assign, update, and unassign each send their own note so the driver always has the current picture.
Include a tracking link
From the same editor you can attach a live tracking link. The link lets the recipient follow the truck's location and ETA without logging in, and it expires on its own when the load completes or cancels. The full walkthrough — including sharing it with a broker — is in Share a live tracking link with brokers.
Good to know
- Who the message and later alerts go to is set separately — see Notification recipients and templates.
- Pulling the broker's pickup and delivery instructions from the Rate Confirmation into the message — as a template variable — is coming soon.
