To reach brokers from the app, you need a mailbox. You can grab a free Numeo email in seconds, or connect the Gmail or Outlook you already use — then email any broker right from the load, without switching apps.
Set up your mailbox
Open "Set up your mailbox" and fill in two things:
- Mailbox Name — Numeo pre-fills an American-style name because brokers respond better to these.
- MC Number — brokers ignore emails without an MC number, so add yours here.
Then pick how you want to send: "Get Free Numeo Email" or "Connect your work email".

Get a free Numeo email
This is the fastest path. Tap "Get Free Numeo Email" and Numeo hands you a ready-to-use email handle — nothing to configure. Good if you don't have a work address yet, or you'd rather keep broker replies separate from your personal inbox.
Connect your work email
Prefer your own address? Tap "Connect your work email" and sign in with Gmail or Outlook. Numeo connects over standard OAuth 2.0 — there's no third-party relay in the middle, so email sends from your real address and brokers reply straight to you.
Add your phone and MC/DOT first
Before you can email or bid, brokers need a way to reach you. If you see "Add your phone & MC/DOT to search loads", add them — the app notes that "Brokers need these to respond to your bids." You only do this once.
Email a broker from a load
Once your mailbox is set, you can reach out without leaving the load:
- Open a load and tap "Email Broker".
- Numeo opens a composer with the load details already in front of you. Type your note, or start from a quick option like "Is this load available?" or "Ask Broker".
- Review it, then send. It goes out from your connected mailbox.

Good to know
- One mailbox or several — you can connect more than one and switch between them with the "All inboxes" switcher.
