Before you can bid on a load or email a broker, Numeo needs your phone and MC/DOT on file. It's a one-time thing: brokers use these to look you up and reply, so the app asks for them up front.
The contact gate
When your phone or MC/DOT is missing, you'll hit a prompt as you try to search or reach out:
- "Add your phone & MC/DOT to search loads"
- "Brokers need these to respond to your bids."
That's the contact gate. Add the two details and it clears — you won't see it again.
Add your details
- When the prompt appears, tap into it (or open your Profile).
- Enter your phone number.
- Enter your MC / DOT Number.
- Save. You can now bid and email brokers.
If you set these during onboarding, you're already cleared — this only shows up when something's blank.
Good to know
- Why brokers care. A broker won't respond to an email without an MC number and a way to call you back. This is the same reason your mailbox setup asks for an MC.
- Update it anytime. Your phone and MC/DOT live in your profile, so you can change them if your authority or number changes.
