Find & rank loads

The search agent

How AI Hub's search agent turns plain-English or form input into a structured load-board search — and where search ends and ranking begins.

3 min read

The search agent is the piece that turns what you want into an actual load-board search. Type a lane in plain English or fill out the form — either way, it builds the structured search that everything else in AI Hub runs on.

Two ways to search, one result

You can hand the search agent your intent in two forms:

  • The search form — set your lane, equipment, and sources, then run it.
  • The chat — type what you're after in plain English and let the agent structure it.

It's the same search underneath. Pick whichever is faster in the moment.

Plain English, structured

When you type instead of filling the form, the search agent reads your intent and builds the fields for you. For example:

Reefers out of Dallas to the Southeast, dropping by Friday.

It pulls out the lane, equipment, and dates, applies your connected sources, and runs the search — then the results come back scored and bucketed.

Where search ends and ranking begins

The search agent's job stops at finding candidates. It doesn't decide which load is best — it gets the right loads onto the board, and hands off from there:

  • The scoring agent ranks and tiers them. See how AI Hub ranks loads.
  • The email and broker-outreach agents work the thread once you pick one.

This is the same search engine that powers Load Hub — AI Hub adds ranking and negotiation on top.

Good to know

  • Location rules apply. A whole-state or zone search runs on DAT; other sources need a specific origin city. See which sources search by state vs by city.
  • Refine by talking. After results land, tell Ask Numeo AI to tighten or re-sort the board — no need to rebuild the search.
