Manual is the lightest-touch mode. The agent still finds and ranks loads and can draft for you, but you compose and send every broker email yourself. Nothing goes out without you clicking send. If you want AI Hub to do the finding and the first pass but keep your hands on every message, this is the mode.
Manual is one of the three AI modes, set per tab. The other two hand more of the sending to the agent.
What Manual does
- The agent helps you find, rank, and draft — the same search and scoring as any mode.
- You send. There's no auto-send in Manual; a broker only hears from you when you press send.
- Because there's no draft going through the safety check, Manual is the fastest per email — no extra round-trip before a message can go out.
That last point is the practical reason to pick Manual: if you're not using auto-send anyway, running every draft through the send classifier would just add latency. Manual skips it.
The one exception: Book It
There's a single case where Manual isn't fully manual. Once you've hit Book It on a load, that load's replies stay on the safety check even in Manual mode — because a booking is in flight and the agent needs the guardrail while it closes the load out. Everything else in the tab stays hands-on; only the Book It thread runs on the checked path.
When to use it
Manual fits when you want full control of wording on a given search — a tricky broker, a lane you're feeling out, or freight you'd rather write by hand. When you'd rather the agent send the routine stuff and only bring you the commitments, switch to Auto-Supervised.
