Driver memory, voice and limits

Driver long-term memory, spoken money-action confirmations on voice, and how Ask Numeo AI usage limits work.

4 min read

Three things that keep the agent honest and in bounds: what it's allowed to remember about your drivers, how it confirms money actions out loud on voice, and how usage limits work.

Driver long-term memory

Numeo can carry long-term memory (LTM) about a driver — preferences and facts it's picked up over time, each tagged with a confidence and how many times it's been seen. You pick which driver a search is for, and the agent can use that memory to work loads that fit.

Two rules keep memory in its place:

  • It's advisory, not authoritative. Your current instruction always overrides anything in memory.
  • Broker-facing use is approval-gated. Any draft whose substance comes from driver memory has to route through your approval before it reaches a broker. Numeo won't state a remembered number as current to a broker without your confirmation — memory can go stale. See How approvals work.

Note: driver memory is off in Fully Autonomous. When the agent runs unattended, it isn't pulling remembered facts into broker drafts.

Voice money-action confirmations

Voice is the same conversation as the rest of AI Hub, just spoken. The safety rule is the important part: money actions always get a spoken read-back and an explicit "yes" before anything goes out.

For a booking, a bid, or anything sent to a broker, the agent reads it back — for example, "$2,850 with TQL, picks up Dallas tomorrow 8am — should I book it?" — and waits for you to say "yes." Searches and questions run on their own; commitments don't. It's the spoken version of the same gate that protects Book It on screen.

Ask Numeo AI usage limits

Ask Numeo AI has usage limits that depend on your plan:

  • Mobile AI Dispatch counts your messages per day and resets at midnight Pacific. Free plans have a daily cap; the uncapped tiers are the Ultra plans.
  • Web AI Hub search is limited per plan. When you hit the ceiling, Numeo shows an upgrade prompt instead of blocking you cold.

We don't publish the exact numbers here, since they move with plans — see the pricing page for current limits and which tiers are uncapped.

Good to know

  • If the system that counts usage ever hiccups, it fails open: it won't block your message.
  • Memory, voice confirmations, and the approval gate all point the same way — the agent assists, and you make the call on anything that commits money. See Trust, safety, factoring and blacklist.
