Connecting sources

Reconnect expired sources

Read the connected, expired, and not-connected source pills, and use the Reconnect dropdown to bring an expired broker or board back.

2 min read

Broker and board logins don't last forever — they time out. Load Hub shows you exactly which sources are connected, which have expired, and which were never set up, and gives you a one-click way to reconnect.

Reading the source pills

Every source in the source bar is a pill in one of three states:

  • Connected — a blue checkbox. It's working, and its loads show in your results.
  • Expired — an amber warning. It was connected, but the login timed out. Reconnect to bring it back.
  • Not connected — a plus-circle. Never set up. Connect it to add its loads.

The source bar header keeps a running count: "{n} selected broker(s)", and when some have dropped, "{n} disconnected broker(s)".

Reconnect an expired source

  1. When you have disconnected brokers, a "Reconnect" dropdown appears in the source bar. It lists each expired source with how long ago it dropped — "expired Xh/Xd ago".
  2. Pick the source from the dropdown to reconnect it. Broker accounts reconnect through the extension; Sylectus reconnects through its login window.
  3. Once it's back, the pill returns to a blue check and its loads flow into your results again.

Hover any pill to see its action — the tooltip reads Enable, Disable, Connect, or Reconnect for that source.

Good to know

  • Quick health check: any amber pill needs a reconnect before it'll return loads. If a lane looks light, scan the source bar first.
