The Equipment filter tells Load Hub which trailer you run, so your results only include freight your truck can actually haul.
Pick your trailer type
Open the Equipment selector in the main filter row and pick one or more types from the multi-select. Each option is a named trailer type — Van, Reefer, Flatbed, and the rest — so you choose by name, not by code. (The letter codes like V, F, and R are internal shorthand, not the picker's labels.) Select the types you run and the search filters to loads that call for them.

What each type covers
There's no separate subtype control to set — each named type already matches its related sub-types for you. To see which ones, hover over the "?" info tooltip next to a type (it appears on types that bundle sub-types). It's labeled "Includes the following types:" and lists the sub-types that unified type covers. The list is read-only: it shows what's auto-matched, not a set of boxes to tick.
Good to know
- Equipment shows as a column in the results table so you can confirm each load's requirement at a glance — see reading the results table.
- Pair it with length and weight limits to keep results to what your trailer can carry.
- For the full filter set across both rows, see every search filter, explained.
