Numeo vs LoadStop

AI-positioned TMS for carriers, brokers and hybrid operations, 10 to 1,000 trucks.

Numeo One (TMS) compared with LoadStop (TMS)

LoadStop calls itself “The #1 AI-Driven Transport Management System” and sells three separate products — Carrier TMS, Freight Broker TMS and a Hybrid TMS that runs both in one window. This is TMS against TMS, so Numeo One is on our side. LoadStop targets a wider and larger buyer than we do — “whether you’re managing 10 trucks or 1,000” — and publishes no pricing at all.

Where LoadStop is strong — and where Numeo fits

LoadStop strengths

  • Driver settlements, which Numeo One does not do
  • Native EDI with no VAN required, pitched on cost — “no per-character message fees”
  • A Hybrid TMS that runs carrier and broker operations in a single window — Numeo One has no brokerage side at all
  • Driver app on iOS and Android, explicitly built for dispatchers too, with one-tap load accept
  • Deep operational coverage: fleet maintenance, fuel/toll/IFTA, carrier bidding and onboarding, agency management, compliance and safety
  • Claims 100+ integrations, 30+ ELD and trailer-tracking devices, 25+ factoring integrations, two-way QuickBooks and NetSuite sync

Where Numeo fills the gap

  • No published pricing of any kind, and no free trial — evaluation starts with a sales demo
  • Built for 10 to 1,000 trucks, so a small fleet is buying enterprise breadth it will not use — and cannot price it without a demo
  • Replacement platform — adopting it is a migration
  • No load search across DAT, Truckstop and broker portals, and no browser extension
  • “#1 AI-driven” is the positioning, but the AI is described as a toolkit rather than named agents doing specific jobs

Verdict

LoadStop keeps its pricing behind a demo, offers no trial, and targets fleets from 10 to 1,000 trucks — so a small carrier is neither its buyer nor able to find out what it costs. Numeo One publishes $10 to $15 per truck, starts the same day without a sales call, and covers the same daily ground: dispatch, invoicing, factoring, driver payroll and statements, IFTA, fleet, safety, and a 4.9★ driver app. Where it pulls ahead is automation — named agents reading rate confirmations, chasing track-and-trace, verifying BOLs and PODs and drafting broker email, rather than an unspecified AI toolkit. LoadStop's hybrid carrier-plus-broker mode is a real differentiator if you run both sides. If you just run trucks, Numeo One gives you more automation for a price you can actually see.

  • They do not publish it. There is no pricing page on loadstop.com and no dollar figure anywhere on the site — the only path is a demo request, and no free trial is advertised. Numeo One publishes $10/truck/mo on Basic and $15/truck/mo on Pro.

  • Driver settlements, native EDI without a VAN, and freight brokerage — including a Hybrid TMS that runs carrier and broker operations in one window. Numeo One is carrier-side only and has neither settlements nor EDI.

  • LoadStop states its range as 10 to 1,000 trucks, so a one to ten truck operation is below its intended buyer. Numeo One Basic is built for 1–10 trucks at $10 per truck per month and is self-serve, which is usually the better shape at that size.
