Numeo vs DispatchMVP

Voice-controlled TMS for owner-operators, carriers, brokers and 3PLs.

Numeo One (TMS) compared with DispatchMVP (TMS)

DispatchMVP describes itself as “the voice-controlled TMS built by trucking veterans” — a full transportation management system built around Otto, its voice assistant, with a driver mobile app, load-board auto-import, OCR document reading, ELD and QuickBooks integrations. So this is a TMS-against-TMS comparison: Numeo One on our side, not the Chrome extension. DispatchMVP also publishes a page comparing itself to Numeo; several of its claims are wrong and are answered below, along with the places where it is genuinely ahead.

Numeo One

AI-native TMS for carriers under 50 trucks

Best for
Carriers who want dispatch, accounting, fleet and safety in one system without an enterprise implementation project — and who would rather add AI to the dispatch motion than replace their load boards.
Pricing
$10/truck/mo (Basic), $15/truck/mo (Pro). Dispatch, accounting, payroll, IFTA, fleet, safety and the driver app on every plan; the advanced AI lands on Pro. 30% less billed annually.

Where DispatchMVP is strong — and where Numeo fits

DispatchMVP strengths

  • Voice-first dispatch (Otto) is a genuine product differentiator — Numeo One has no voice mode of its own
  • Driver mobile app with hands-free check calls
  • Driver settlements built in, as they are in Numeo One
  • OCR document reading for tenders, BOLs and PODs, plus QuickBooks and ELD sync
  • Publishes full pricing openly, tier by tier, which most of this category does not

Where Numeo fills the gap

  • Tiers cap both trucks and tenders — 50 tenders on the $49 plan, 150 on $99, 400 on $199. A busy 2-truck operation can outgrow a tier on volume alone, without adding a truck
  • Flat bands mean you pay for the whole band: a 6-truck fleet pays the 10-truck price
  • Replacement platform — adopting it means migrating your dispatch stack, not layering onto it
  • Its comparison page states Numeo has “no mobile app for drivers” — the Numeo App ships on iOS and Android and holds 4.9★ from 354 App Store ratings
  • It states Numeo has “no voice dispatch capability at any tier” — AI Hub has a voice mode with spoken read-back and explicit confirmation before any money action
  • It states “Numeo’s Starter tier is $99/month — and that only covers AI broker calling”. There is no $99 Numeo tier: Spot is free, Pro is $9.99 and Ultra $29.99 per dispatcher, and Numeo One is $10–$15 per truck

Verdict

Both are TMS products for small fleets, so compare them where it counts. Numeo One is cheaper at every band below 50 trucks — $20 against $49 at two trucks, $50 against $99 at five, $100 against $199 at ten — and it does not cap how many loads you run, while every DispatchMVP tier caps tenders as well as trucks. A busy two-truck operation can hit their 50-tender ceiling without buying a truck. On capability the gap is narrower than their comparison page claims: Numeo One does driver payroll and statements, IFTA, invoicing and factoring on every plan, the Numeo app is on iOS and Android at 4.9★, and AI Hub has a voice mode. Otto is a genuinely good voice product and if hands-free is the whole point of your purchase, they built for that. Otherwise Numeo One gives you the same operational coverage for half the money and no volume ceiling.

  • Yes. The Numeo App is on iOS and Android — AI-ranked loads, one-tap bidding, and 100,000+ loads a day in one feed. It holds 4.9★ from 354 ratings on the App Store. DispatchMVP’s comparison page states Numeo has no mobile app; that is incorrect.

  • Yes. AI Hub has a voice mode that runs the same agent and the same thread as the typed conversation. Money actions — a booking, a bid, anything sent to a broker — get read back out loud and require a spoken “yes” before they go out.

  • No. Numeo Spot is the free Chrome extension and the usual entry point, but Numeo One is a full TMS with dispatch, accounting, fleet and safety modules, and Load Hub and AI Hub run in the browser independently of it. The extension is the front door, not the product.

  • DispatchMVP prices in bands by truck count: $49/mo up to 2 trucks, $99 up to 5, $199 up to 10, $499 up to 50 — each with a tender cap (50, 150, 400 and 2,000 respectively). Numeo One is $10/truck/mo on Basic with no load cap, so 2 trucks is $20, 5 trucks $50, 10 trucks $100 and 50 trucks $500. Numeo One is cheaper at every band under 50 trucks and roughly at parity at 50. Their page claims a “$99/month Starter tier” for Numeo; no such tier exists.

  • If driver settlements are core to how you run payroll, DispatchMVP does them and Numeo One does not. If you want a single voice-first platform to replace your whole stack rather than an automation layer on top of it, that is their design and not ours.
