Numeo vs 123Loadboard

Established freight-matching marketplace — paid only, with a 10-day trial.

Numeo app (Mobile app) compared with 123Loadboard (Load board)

123Loadboard is a long-standing freight-matching marketplace for carriers, owner-operators, brokers and shippers, on web and mobile. It belongs in a free-load-board comparison mainly to correct a misconception: it is frequently listed as a free board, and it is not. The mobile app is free to install, but there is no free tier — after a 10-day trial every plan is paid. That makes the honest comparison a paid board against a free one.

A free load feed with the AI included, rather than a subscription to look

Best for
Carriers who do not want to pay a monthly fee for the privilege of searching, and who want the broker outreach handled rather than just the freight listed.
Pricing

Where 123Loadboard is strong — and where Numeo fits

123Loadboard strengths

  • Publishes all three tiers openly — $39, $59 and $79 a month — which many competitors do not
  • Long-established marketplace serving carriers, owner-operators, brokers and shippers on both web and mobile
  • The cheapest paid tier undercuts DAT’s entry plan
  • 10-day free trial on carrier plans, so the product can be evaluated before committing

Where Numeo fills the gap

  • No free tier at all. It is regularly listed in “free load board” roundups, which is simply wrong — the trial is 10 days and then it is paid
  • You are paying a monthly subscription to search, before any load has paid you anything
  • No browser extension, so nothing runs inside DAT or Truckstop
  • No TMS, so nothing carries the booked load into invoicing or settlements
  • One source — freight posted only to DAT, Truckstop or a broker portal is not in it

Verdict

123Loadboard is a competent, established marketplace that publishes its prices honestly, and at $39 a month its entry tier is cheaper than DAT’s. The thing to be clear about is that it is not a free load board, however often it appears on lists of them — the 10-day trial ends and then you are paying monthly to search. That is a defensible model if the board is your only tool, but it is a hard sell against boards that give the search away and charge for the work that comes after it. The Numeo app is free to keep using, includes AI dispatch on the free tier rather than not offering it at all, and continues into a Chrome extension and a TMS. If you are paying $39 a month purely to look at freight, it is worth checking what the free options now include.

  • No. The mobile app is free to install, but there is no free tier — carrier plans come with a 10-day free trial and are paid after that, at $39, $59 or $79 a month. It appears in “free load board” roundups regularly, and those roundups are wrong. Read from 123loadboard.com/pricing on 2 September 2026.

  • Standard is $39/month, Premium $59/month and Premium Plus $79/month, each including a 10-day free trial. That entry price undercuts DAT One Standard at $54/month, though both are subscriptions to search rather than to book.

  • The two genuinely free options are Trucker Path TruckLoads, which advertises free unlimited access to 150,000+ daily loads, and the Numeo app, which is free to download with 100,000+ daily loads and AI dispatch included. Our free load board guide compares what each free tier actually includes, including the boards that cap searches.
